🚨 AFTERSHOCKS INAASAHAN SA DAVAO ORIENTAL; ALAMIN ANG DAPAT GAWIN 🚨

Magnitude 7.5 na lindol ang yumanig sa Davao Oriental at mga karatig nitong probinsya pasado 9am.

Nagbabala ang PHIVOLCS sa posibilidad ng mga aftershock na maaaring magdulot ng karagdagang pinsala sa mga gusali at kabahayan.

Paalala ng DOH: Maging alerto at mag-ingat mula sa aftershocks at tsunami dulot ng lindol.

✅Gumamit ng first aid kit kapag may sugat o galos sa katawan
✅Lumayo sa mga sirang gusali, nakalaylay na linya ng kuryente, lupang maaaring gumuho, at dalampasigan.
✅Ihanda ang Go Bag kung sakaling kailanganing lumikas dahil sa aftershocks o paparating na tsunami
✅Bantayan ang anunsyo ng lokal na pamahalaan at ng PHIVOLCS
✅Kapag ligtas na, suriin ang bahay at gamit sa anumang sira, gaya ng bitak o pagtagas

Short background: A brain aneurysm, also known as a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), is a weak spot in the wall of a blood vessel inside the brain. [Ito ay ang pagnipis ng blood vessel at paglobo nito. Nabubuo ito dulot ng stress sa blood vessels]. Some of the symptoms of this are:

🛑 Intense headache that comes on suddenly
🛑 Loss of consciousness
🛑 Nausea and vomiting
🛑 Drowsiness
🛑 Loss of balance in things like walking and normal coordination
🛑 Stiff neck
🛑 Dilated pupils
🛑 Sensitivity to light
🛑 Sudden blurred or double vision
🛑 Drooping eyelid
🛑 Confusion or trouble with mental awareness
🛑 Seizure

WHAT WE CAN DO TO PREVENT BRAIN ANEURYSM?

We can't always prevent brain aneurysms since one of causes of this is heredity, but we can lower the high risk by doing the following.

✅ Avoid smoking
✅ Avoid too much stress or strong emotion
✅ Reduce high blood pressure (this is very important among the three)
✅ Consume adequate amounts of VitC&D VitE,B vitamins B6,B12 and folate)

Pps: Mental health is not the main cause of brain aneurysm, but strong emotion can trigger one that is why, we need to monitor our Bp and avoid Pressure and Stress.
