My husband's cooking is amazing!

I am married to a man of my dream he is a SUPER DAD! and recently I discovered another amazing thing about him. He is really good at cooking! Well, we all know dads are the bread winner of the family, he is indeed and he fond of experimenting dishes he himself cannot identify =).

First of, his first-ever amazing pizza, He called it CHEESY MUSHROOM EXPLOSION Its very tasty and full of cheese. "Guys cook generously" that's what he always told me. Its not bad to add a little more to satisfy your cravings. Then every now and then he cook from breakfast 'til midnight snack. From Beef to Shrimp down to a simple scrambled egg.

He has this chef-like taste bud. He would like to try something new spices from the imported section of supermarket then google how to use it. He mix and match and turns out well, if not he won't serve it and redone it until its perfect!

Our dinner last night was a marinated Pork with string beans or sitaw. Its soo good and very tender, when I ask him the ingredients? its secret of him. He will let me taste first and wait for my comment about the dish and what ever my comment would be he will return it with smile.

His favorite is his version of Chicken Pineapple with freshly pick pineapples, One thing to describe: Its yummy! He also surprise me with healthy breakfast, usually "silog". He want me to be lean and healthy so 1 cup of rice will do, with tocino (either fatless pork or chicken) side dish and of course an egg (scrambled, boiled or poached). He can do frying as well aside from sunny side-up egg, fried Milk fish (Daing na Bangus) is a top choice. Shrimp dishes too are lined up, to name a few, he can do Ginataan, Ginisa and Sweet and Sour.

With his busy schedule from working at home, he take a pause to bond with our kids too. He LOVES our 3 daughters BIGTIME. He pours in love to add with his recipe and a healthy choice of ingredients for our kids to enjoy our mealtime.

We are so blessed to have him. A Great Dad, Provider, tall but not dark and Handsome Guy and to add to his description. An Amazing Chef-Wanna Be.

How about you moms, what new found amazing skill did you discovered about your husband?

START PLANTING SUCCULENTS TODAY!

Succulents are sooo relaxing and have a lot to offer!

Dear moms,

Find time to relax while looking at those fascinating succulents.

A general definition of succulents is that they are drought resistant plants in which the leaves, stem or roots have become more than usually fleshy by the development of water-storing tissue.

In recognition of the role that houseplants can play in our lives, there is now a National Indoor Plant Week each year. This has been designated as the third week in September.

Any time is a good time to enjoy the beauty and joy that indoor cacti and succulents have to offer. But this week gives us special opportunity to recognize their contributions.

In recent decades, research has shown that indoor air pollution is a serious problem. This has become a pressing issue as we insulate our homes and weatherize them to make them tighter in order to control heating/cooling costs. Experts refer to such structures as ‘sick buildings’ due to the air quality problems. We’re left to breathe polluted and tainted indoor air that is laced with formaldehyde and other poisonous gases. These noxious fumes come from various sources within the building, such as building materials, indoor furnishings, furniture, cabinets, paint, and cleaners.

It is hard to eliminate the sources of these fumes and chemicals. On the other hand, we can generally add more houseplants. These plants remove and deactivate the substances that can result in health problems. At the same time, the plants release clean, life-affirming, fresh oxygen into the home.

Scientists have methodically measured the amount of formaldehyde and other chemicals that various kinds of plants can remove from the air. During tests, several plants did well. These included the Christmas cactus. It removed about twice as much as the common flowering kalanchoe, the common aloe, and the snake plant.

Dracaenas are members of the agave family. Some of these are considered succulents. The dragon tree, which is among the most popular of the indoor dracaenas, is twice as effective as the Christmas cactus in removing formaldehyde from indoor air. It is four times better than the aloe, kalanchoe, and the snake plant.

Experts recommend growing the aloe and the snake plant as well as the Christmas cactus in bedrooms. These species are able to remove carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen while we’re sleeping.

In addition to removing formaldehyde, plants are also removing other harmful airborne indoor pollutants, such as ammonia, toluene, and xylem. Both the dragon tree and corn plants did a good job removing toluene and xylene from the air.

Much of the positive effect is from having plants very close by. So, put them where you spend the most time. Examples include near the bed, computer, and television.

This will benefit our family and the entire universe, so start making a difference and plant succulents!

Thanks for reading! =)
