The Medical Services Department of Urdaneta District Hospital convened for a productive and forward-focused meeting centered on service improvement, institutional growth, and quality patient care.. The meeting centered on key agenda items, including the 2025 4th Quarter Census, updates on the Local Economic Enterprise, and PhilHealth and Strategic Services. Discussions also highlighted the upcoming ISO Audit Schedule, the progress of the Laboratory and Level 2 Hospital Upgrade, and preparations for the hospital’s Founding Anniversary. Guided by its focus areas—review of department performance, regulatory compliance and accreditation, infrastructure and manpower growth, and continuous improvement of patient services—the department engaged in meaningful dialogue to assess current outcomes and identify strategic steps forward. Emphasis was placed on maintaining standards of excellence, ensuring readiness for accreditation processes, and strengthening systems that directly impact patient care.

The meeting reaffirmed the collective dedication of the General Medical Services Department to uphold efficiency, accountability, and patient-centered service. Through collaborative planning and proactive leadership, Urdaneta District Hospital continues to move forward in its goal of delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare to the community it serves.

𝐈𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 | First Friday Mass Celebration

This First Friday was a beautiful moment of prayer, reflection, and hope within our hospital walls, celebrated by Fr. Dann Philip Soriano together with hospital personnel, patients, and clients. As we honored the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we offered prayers for healing, comfort, and renewed strength for all who suffer and for all who care. We are grateful for the gift of faith that unites us and sustains us, even in the hardest moments.

✨ UDH Year-End Party 2025: A Celebration of Gratitude, Giving, and Retro Vibes! ✨

The Urdaneta District Hospital successfully wrapped up the year with a meaningful and joyful Year-End Party filled with thanksgiving, compassion, and celebration. The day began with a Thanksgiving Mass, expressing our heartfelt gratitude for the blessings, strength, and milestones we have shared throughout the year.

One of the most touching moments was the gift-giving activity for our in-patients from different wards, made possible through the generosity of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan led by our hard working Governor Ramon Mon-Mon Guico III and the kindness poured into our donation boxes. Seeing smiles and sharing hope truly captured the spirit of the season. 💝

As the afternoon unfolded, the celebration shifted into high gear with an extravagant Retro-Themed Party! 🎶🕺💃 The event was filled with excitement and laughter through various games, impressive performances at UDH Got Talent, and the much-anticipated awarding of Best Parol Making.

The fun continued with the raffle draw, the crowning of Best Retro Dress (Male and Female), and the dance floor coming alive with classic retro dance feels that brought everyone together. The special awarding of the 3 C’s — Client-Friendly, Courteous, and Compassionate — was presented by our Chief of Hospital, Dr. Arnulfo L. Olivar to employees who truly embody the heart of UDH.

Spearheaded by the Medical Service led by its department heads, with the support from the Chief of Hospital Dr. Arnie L. Olivar, Administrative Officer Mrs. Monina Manangan, Chief of Clinics Dr. Adrian Carlo Lustina, and Chief Nurse Mr. Gerwin Ceasar Macaranas, this year-end celebration reminded us that UDH is more than a workplace—it is a family united by service, compassion, and joy. 💙
