⚠️🐾 PYOMETRA IS LIFE-THREATENING — BUT PREVENTABLE 🐾⚠️

This is Nana, a female Shih Tzu who was brought to JM Padrinao Animal Clinic – Marulas Branch due to loss of appetite, lethargy, abdominal distension, and abnormal vaginal discharge.

Diagnostic tests and ultra*ound findings were consistent with pyometra, a serious uterine infection commonly seen in unspayed female dogs.
She immediately underwent emergency ovariohysterectomy (spay surgery).

💉 Thanks to early intervention and proper surgical management, Nona is now stable and recovering well.
