Alam mo ba? Ang leptospirosis ay isang seryosong sakit na nakukuha sa baha o tubig na kontaminado ng ihi ng daga. Delikado ito lalo na kapag may sugat sa balat!

Mga Sintomas:
Lagnat, sakit ng ulo, pananakit ng tiyan, paninilaw, at hirap sa paghinga.

Agad na magpakonsulta sa health center o doktor kung may sintomas!

May gabay para sa adults at kids kung paano maiiwasan o maagapan ang leptospirosis base sa level ng exposure.

Alamin, Iwasan, at Mag-ingat!

The Eastern Bicol Medical Center's Hemodialysis Unit is celebrating National Kidney Month 2025 with a fun run! This year's theme, "Bato ay alagaan, buhay ay ipaglaban", highlights the importance of kidney health.

Join us for a colorful 5K fun run on June 29th, starting at Plaza Rizal in Virac. Get ready for a scenic route that takes you through Imelda Boulevard, past Cafe de Au, the Pier Van Terminal, Park and Grill, Maudels, Crystal’s Boulevard, The Lumber, Weeding Bee, the Chinese Cemetery, Silangan Gas Station, the Provincial Capitol, the Virac Sports Center (Old RC Building), Power Zone, South Star Drug (San Pedro), Shop Box, and back to Plaza Rizal.

Register before June 20th by contacting Karl Felix Lazaro at 09186145175 or Ms. Marianne Christine M. Teves at 099539750590.

A map of the route will be posted shortly. Prizes will be awarded separately to male and female participants:

Eastern Bicol Medical Center, in coordination with the Provincial Health Office, Eastern Bicol Medical Center, and the Department of Health, Catanduanes, is pleased to announce a mobile blood donation drive in observance of National Kidney Month. The drive will be held on June 30th, 2025 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Eastern Bicol Medical Center conference room. Your generous donation will directly support our dialysis patients and help alleviate the critical blood shortage at our hospital. We encourage everyone to participate.
