October is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH!
In line with this, the ZCMC Cancer Center will offer free breast screenings throughout October of 2024!
Services offered:
FREE Breast Clinical Examination, Breast Ultrasound, and Bilateral Mammogram.
Priority is given to those 40 yrs old and above with HIGH-RISK FACTORS. The high-risk criteria include:
* Personal history of precancerous breast lesions.
* Family history of breast cancer (up to second degree).
* Known genetic predisposition to breast cancer.
* History of mantle or chest radiation therapy.
* Dense breast tissue.
* Children and adolescents under 19 years of age with genetic conditions (e.g., Down syndrome).
