EAAB Hospital Nursing Service 1st Quarter Conference
The EAAB Hospital Nursing Service successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Conference, led by LTC JUNALYN C LOMIBAO NC, Chief, Nursing Service. The conference served as an avenue to strengthen professional growth, reinforce best practices, and celebrate the dedication and commitment of our nursing service personnel.
The program commenced with meaningful learning sessions and important updates, including:
🔹 Re-echo of the Mental Health Crisis Hotline Training by AW2C Mia Palacio PAF and AM Judi Omar PAF
🔹 PACU Training Updates by AW1C Rio Serrano PAF
🔹 Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program Audit on Hand Hygiene by Civ HR Romika Lim, RN
These discussions underscored the Nursing Service’s commitment to patient safety, quality healthcare delivery, and continuous professional development.
A special highlight of the conference was the recognition of excellence. Deserving members of the Nursing Service were honored as Patients’ Choice Awardees, reflecting their compassion, professionalism, and outstanding service. Congratulations to Civ HR Maricor Chio, RN, MN, Civ HR Valmarie Delos Santos,RN, and Civ HR Ruby Baylen for this well-deserved recognition.
Birthday celebrants for the quarter were also warmly recognized, bringing joy and camaraderie to the gathering. In celebration of the season of love, a small pre-Valentine’s token was given to all personnel as a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for their dedication and service.
The event also included a heartfelt despedida for 1LT JERIC S. ZAMORA NC, who will place on DS status at BGBNEABH. The Nursing Service expressed sincere gratitude for his invaluable contributions, dedication, and professionalism during his time with EAAB Hospital. The team extends its best wishes for his continued success and excellence in service.
In her guidance message, LTC LOMIBAO NC expressed deep appreciation for the collective achievements and accomplishments of the Nursing Service personnel who continuously uphold the vision and mission of EAAB Hospital. She emphasized the importance of sustaining excellence in serving our servicemen and encouraged everyone to initiate meaningful programs that will further support the Philippine Air Force community.
The day concluded with a refreshing mental health activity, where personnel participated in a gift exchange—fostering positivity, teamwork, and emotional well-being among the team.
