Swabi: A three-day comprehensive workshop on Patient Safety, Accreditation, and Clinical Audit was successfully concluded at Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC), MTI Swabi. The workshop aimed to strengthen healthcare quality and safety standards across the institution.
More than 50 healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, technicians, and administrative staff from BKMC and allied THQs, participated in the training.
The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Matiur-Rahman and Dr. Aisha Rahman from the Health Services Academy (HSA), Islamabad, who provided extensive hands-on training and shared national and international best practices in patient safety and clinical audit.
Prof. Dr. Matiur-Rahman, a renowned expert in patient safety and clinical audit with vast national and international experience, led interactive sessions covering policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and practical implementation strategies. The workshop emphasized hands-on learning and active participation by attendees.
The event was organized by the Acting Medical Director, Prof. Dr. Seema Gull, Manager Quality Assurance Saeed Afsar, Raham Yousafzai Media Officer of BKMC. Participants actively engaged throughout the sessions, reflecting strong interest and commitment to improving healthcare quality.
At the conclusion of the workshop, shields and certificates were distributed among the participants.
The Dean/CEO, Hospital Director, and Acting Medical Director appreciated the efforts of the HSA team and assured that similar training programs and workshops would be conducted in the future to further enhance patient safety and healthcare standards at BKMC.
