The Drug Control Buner team conducted an inspection of the godown located at Top Dara today, following up on last week's visit. During the operation, a person was found to be repeatedly involved in the sale of unregistered and "Not For Sale" medicines. A significant quantity of tampered physician samples and unregistered drugs were seized from the individual's possession. Consequently, charges have been filed against the accused under the pertinent sections of the Drug Act 1976 and its associated rules.

The Drug Control Buner team, under the direction of DG Drug Control & Pharmacy Services Dr. Abbas Khan, has launched comprehensive operations to curb the illegal sale of narcotic and controlled drugs.

*Enforcement Summary - March 5, 2026*

- 05 premises were challaned in Amazi, Nagray Mela, opp RHC Nagray, and Nawagai Road for violations.
- 1 mobile supplier was charged for selling controlled substances without a drug sale license and violating DSL conditions.
- 2 distributors/ whole saler were charged for supplying drugs/medicines to unlicensed premises and providing false warranties.

The team is implementing a zero-tolerance policy to eliminate the illegal sale of drug with out Dsl and sale of narcotics and controlled drugs.

The Drug Control Team Buner conducted inspections at various premises in Ambela, Kawga, Nawagai, Shergarh, and Nagrai Buner on March 4, 2026.

- 4 medical store proprietors were charged for operating without a drug sale license.
- 1 medical store proprietor was charged for selling narcotic drugs without a narcotics sale license.
- 8 medical stores were inspected for online drug sale license; 5 were recommended for a drug sale license as they met the requirements.

Action will be taken against the violators under the Drugs Act 1976 and its associated rules.

Drug Control Buner team inspected various medical stores in shalbandi and sawari . A total of 10 medical stores were inspected, out of which 4 were found operating without a drug sale license and were charged accordingly. Bulk quantity of narcotics analgesic were recovered and siezed from one medical store with out having narcotics sale licence .
One suspected sample was taken on Form 5 for further testing and analysis. All violators will be dealt with as per the Drug Act 1976.

The Drug Control Team Buner received a complaint at sawari bazar today at 10 am, and promptly inspected the premises at 11 am the same day. A substantial quantity of unregistered aphrodisiac drugs and sexual enhancer drugs were confiscated from the premises. The seized drugs were documented on Form as a token of evidence in the presence of witness.
The accused will face charges under the Drug Act 1976 and its associated rules.

Drug Control Buner team conducted inspections at various pharmacies and medical stores in Pir Baba, Torwarsak, sawari , and Dagger Buner to verify online drug sale licenses. A total of 24 premises were inspected. Out of these, 10 were approved for online drug sale licenses as they met all the required conditions. The remaining stores were instructed to fulfill the necessary requirements.
All medical stores owner were directed not to purchase without warranty and outstation medicines .Always purchase medicines from authorized distributor .

Today Drug Inspector buner Haroon Rashid and Tariq ali along with Assistant Commissioner zahra Noor conducted inspections at various medical stores in Tehsil Khadukhel, Buner. The inspection resulted in the recovery of suspected stocks of Tab Efaston, expired drugs , price-tampered drugs, and unlisted drugs from different premises. 04 medical stores were charged for operating without a drug sale license. The Drug Control Buner team conducted inspections at 10 drug sale outlets in Dagger, Torwarsak, Jowar Road, and Bampokha village.

Expired, unregistered, and narcotic drugs were seized, and unlicensed medical stores were charged. Suspected samples were collected for further testing and analysis.

Cases have been initiated against violators under the Drug Act 1976 and relevant rules. One medical store was issued a Drug Sale Licence after fulfilling all necessary conditions.

In continuation of yesterday's activity in Tehsil Khadokhel, Buner, the Drug Control team Buner revisited Tehsil Khadokhel early in morning and seized suspected spurious Efaston tablets (10mg) from a mobile supplier near CH Totalai. The mobile supplier was supplying various suspected spurious drugs to LHV maternity homes in District Buner
