Family planning health mela was held at the picturesque spot of kallar kahar lake on 29/1/26. Large number of students, teachers, families, media persons, government officials and prominent members of the community attended the event. Several stalls of organic products, information counters and food were present. Speeches, national songs, poetry and variety of performances were presented by students. Magic show and folk music was also a big attraction of the event. AC Kallar Kahar Mr. Afzaal Chaudhary inaugurated the event, visited the stalls and expressed satisfaction regarding the event and he also appealed to the members of the community to do their part in countering the menace of overpopulation. Social activists, opinion leaders, educationists and several members of the community were also in the event. CEO Health Dr Saeed Akhtar was the chief guest and distributed prizes among the students and acknowledged the contributions of all those who made the event a success.
