Justice for Dr Mehwish 💔
آج ایک اور چراغ بجھا دیا گیا۔
ڈاکٹر مہوش کی شہادت صرف ایک خبر نہیں، یہ ہمارے معاشرے کے ضمیر پر ایک گہرا زخم ہے۔
وہ جو دوسروں کی سانسیں بحال کرتی تھیں، آج خود انصاف کی منتظر ہیں۔
وہ جو ہر درد کا علاج کرتی تھیں، آج ہمارے اجتماعی درد کی علامت بن گئی ہیں۔
ہم کب تک اپنے محافظوں کو کھوتے رہیں گے؟
کب تک سفید کوٹ خون سے رنگتا رہے گا؟
کب تک ادارے خاموش اور مجرم بے خوف رہیں گے؟
یہ صرف ایک ڈاکٹر کا قتل نہیں —
یہ انسانیت کا قتل ہے،
یہ نظام کی ناکامی ہے،
یہ ہماری خاموشی کا نتیجہ ہے۔
اگر آج ہم نے آواز نہ اٹھائی تو کل کوئی اور مہوش ہم سے چھن جائے گی۔
ہمیں متحد ہونا ہوگا، اپنے تحفظ کے لیے، اپنی عزت کے لیے، اپنے مستقبل کے لیے۔
ڈاکٹر محفوظ ہوں گے تو معاشرہ محفوظ ہوگا۔
ہم انصاف چاہتے ہیں، اور انصاف لے کر رہیں گے۔

He was born… but not welcomed. 🐒

At the zoo in Japan, a baby monkey named Punch was rejected by his own mother. Too small to understand why, but big enough to feel the loneliness.

So he found comfort in a stuffed toy.

He carries it everywhere.
He hugs it when he’s scared.
He runs to it when other monkeys push him away.

And somehow… that soft toy became his safe place.

People laughed at first. Then they watched closely. And they realized — he’s just like us. When the world feels cold, we all look for something to hold onto.

But here’s the beautiful part:
Slowly, the other monkeys started accepting him. One even hugged him.

From rejection to belonging.

What do we learn?

• Being unwanted doesn’t mean you’re unworthy.
• Healing takes time.
• Even the smallest comfort can keep you strong.
• And one day, the same world that ignored you… may embrace you.

Punch didn’t give up.
Neither should we. 🤍

ڈاکٹر منصور اپنے دوستوں کے پاس ہاسٹل میں مہمان گئے تھے، لیکن گیس لیکج کے باعث دھماکہ ہوا اور آج وہ اپنی زندگی کی آخری سانس لے کر اللہ کے حضور چلے گئے۔
میں نے اُنہیں خود برن سینٹر میں داخل کیا تھا اور اُن کا علاج جاری تھا، مگر جو اللہ کو منظور ہوتا ہے وہی ہوتا ہے۔ زندگی اور موت کا اختیار صرف اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے۔
سب سے گزارش ہے کہ گیس ہیٹر سے پرہیز کریں اور اسے کبھی بھی بند کمرے میں استعمال نہ کریں۔
چھوٹی سی لاپرواہی بھی بڑے سانحے کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔
ان کی نماز جنازہ صبح 10 بجے خوازہ خیلہ سوات میں ادا کی جائے گی۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ڈاکٹر منصور کی مغفرت فرمائے اور اُن کے اہلِ خانہ کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔ 🤲🥺

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا وَعَافِهَا وَاعْفُ عَنْهَا

Fatima Jinnah Medical College and University extend deepest condolence to the family of very dear final year MBBS student of FJMC on her sad demise. The way she has left us is shocking and heart breaking.

She was received in critical condition in emergency department of ganga Ram hosp and, despite immediate and exhaustive efforts by our emergency and critical care teams, could not be revived.
Fatima Jinnah Medical College and entire University community is in a state of immense grief. The loss of a young life within our academic family is deeply painful for all of us, like we lost our own daughter.
Fatima Jinnah Medical College and University extend Condolence and full support to the aggrieved family on this sad demise. The undergraduate classes (MBBS) will remain suspended for one week.
The revised examination schedule will be announced shortly.
Details regarding the Janazah prayer, including date, time, and venue, will be communicated once finalized. The University will arrange transportation for students and faculty who intend to go to her hometown.
