Aziz Fatimah Trust Hospital is a Welfare Project of Sitara Group of Industries Ltd. Sitara Group is renounced industrial group of Pakistan involved in the production of Chemicals, Textiles and Industrial Gases etc.
The Hospital was established in 1979, inaugurated by, the then, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan General Muhammad Zia Ul Haq on March 25, 1980, with the objective to provide health facilities to the people of Faisalabad & adjoining areas at lowest possible cost. The hospital is spread over an area of 42 Kanals and 11 Marla's.
The Hospital is registered under Section 2(36) of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 as Not for Profit Organization (NPO). It is also a Teaching Hospital for Aziz Fatimah Medical and Dental College Approved by University of Health Sciences Lahore. AFH is currently a more than 500 bedded tertiary care Hospital, approved by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council for house Jobs for junior doctors.
Sitara Group is providing Welfare Services through their charity projects, which includes: Free Medical/ Surgical facilities to the deserving patients through Zakat or Welfare Fund (for non Muslims), Free medicines to the deserving patients , Free/ Discounted treatment is extended to ICU patients who can't afford treatment. As advised by Worthy Managing Trustee, no patient is denied for treatment for not having the capacity to pay.
