Babbling always occurs before your baby's first words so learning how to encourage babbling is important.

1) Treat your baby's babbling like true communication. Babble back to them or have a conversation with them.
2) Pause and give them time to initiate a babble.
3)Aim for a back and forth interaction with your baby that resembles the back and forth of a conversation.
