🚨 DDRT Activity - 10-09-2025

Red Crescent District Branch Hyderabad deployed its dedicated volunteers to Latifabad Unit No. 07, where heavy rainwater accumulation created severe difficulties for local residents and people traveling through the area. The DDRT team responded swiftly, providing necessary assistance and support to those affected.

🚨 DDRT Surveillance Alert 🚨

📍 District: Hyderabad

Today, the DDRT volunteer team conducted a surveillance visit to Hussainabad Bhutto Park, where the Indus River poses a serious flood risk. During the visit, we identified around 20 houses dangerously close to the river.

Our team immediately engaged with the local residents, raising awareness about the potential flood threat and guiding them on urgent safety and evacuation measures. Residents were strongly advised to evacuate and move to safer locations to protect their lives and belongings.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the team of the national grid visited the hospital wards, distributing sweets and flower bouquets to patients, and handing out toys to children in the pediatric ward.

A graceful Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at Red Crescent General Hospital, followed by a joyful Cake Cutting Ceremony at the Red Crescent Institute of Cardiology & General Hospital.

The events were graced by Chairman Mehmood Qaim Khani, General Secretary Dr. Syed Aliuddin Shah, Treasurer Abdul Haq Sheikh, Cardiac In-charge & Executive Committee Member Muhammad Naeem Sheikh, Dr. Rafiq ul Hassan Khokhar, Dr. Shoukat Memon, Dr. Ayub KK, and Dr. Khadim Hussain Qureshi.
