- Evening aggravations.
- Amelioration from sleep.

- Befogged (Bell., K. carb., Phos. ac., Puls., Sep.)
- Comprehension difficult and confusion (Bell., K. carb., Phos. ac., Puls., Sep.)
- Dark hair (Phos. ac., Puls., Sep.)
- Aggravation from mental exertion (Phos. ac., Sep.)
- Amelioration from sleep (Sep.)

Treatment:

- A second dose led to aggravation, followed by marked relief and a permanent cure.

Follow-up and Progress:
- Immediate relief and a permanent cure were achieved with Sepia despite the continued overwork as an exciting cause.

Case Analysis:
- The case approach was focused on the totality of symptoms, emphasizing the characteristic nature of the neuralgic pain, aggravating factors, and mental symptoms.
- Sepia, selected based on the repertorial analysis and the individualized presentation of symptoms, proved to be the simillimum, leading to a rapid and lasting cure.

THERAPEUTICS

A case cured by Silica 30 when surgery failed (American Homeopathist, 1893).

In a case recounted by Dr. J. H. Clarke, a thirty-one-year-old gentleman sought homeopathic intervention after experiencing complications following a bout of grippe, which had left his eyes partially blinded. Subsequently, the patient discovered a painless lump in his left groin after unusual physical exertion. Conventional treatments involving iodine application and surgical incision along Poupart's ligament led to a distressing convalescence marked by fistulous openings and a gaping wound in the groin. Another allopathic opinion recommended further surgery, a proposition that Dr. Clarke deemed cruel.

Dr. Clarke's analysis focused on the constitutional symptoms and peculiarities of the case. Despite meager constitutional indications, such as a tendency to moist feet, a preference for hot weather, and sensitiveness to chills, the presence of fistulous openings hinted at the remedy Silica. Dr. Clarke considered Silica 30, administered in tablet form three times a day, with explicit instructions to avoid colds and overexertion, and without the use of any local applications. Remarkably, within a mere fourteen days, the discharge ceased, and the wound in the groin healed. Notably, the patient's ocular issues, a residual effect from the grippe, also saw improvement with the administration of Conium 30 and Ruta. This case exemplifies the importance of a constitutional approach in homeopathy, where Silica, guided by characteristic symptoms and modalities, proved curative even when surgery had previously failed.

To be ruled by clinical observations and pathological guesses is a most disastrous error which limits our action and only obscures the wonderful power of which the true similimum is capable (C. M. Boger).

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

Some people are extra conscious about their protection from outside environment as they have a fear in mind to catch infection/disease. Such a situation is depicted in the attached image in which a person is holding a grab handle in a public bus using a tissue paper so as to block the transmission of germs to his hand. Else, he has a fear to get infected from germs. Complete Repertory has following rubrics for this condition:
