Anti-Narcotic Drive at Rawal College of Dentistry, RIHS
An Anti-Narcotic Drive was conducted at Rawal College of Dentistry, RIHS. Final-year students developed informative posters depicting various aspects of narcotic abuse, including its social impact, strategies for interacting with patients involved in substance abuse, effective management approaches, and—most importantly—methods to prevent the increasing trend of addiction, particularly due to stress and burnout.
This activity was planned by the Dental Education Department under the supervision of Dr. Khaliq Amaan Rono, Dr. Mahjbeen, Dr. Amna Amjad, and Dr. Huma Kiani, as guided by SZAMBU and HEC, and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Saad Asad, Principal, RCOD.

On the occasion of the Orientation Ceremony at Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, Chairman RIHS Mr. Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, Co-chairperson Mrs. Saleha Khaqan, Director Rawal Foundation & Hostel Mrs. Amara Hayat, and Director RIHS Mrs. Omaima Khaqan met with the newly inducted students and their parents during a luncheon.

The warm and interactive session fostered meaningful dialogue, where parents expressed great satisfaction and confidence in the institution’s vision and commitment to nurturing future medical professionals.

The Orientation, White Coat, and Oath-Taking Ceremony of the MBBS New Batch 2026 was held at Rawal Institute of Health Sciences. The oath was administered by Principal MBBS Program, Prof. Dr. Shakaib Anwer.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Chairman RIHS, Mr. Khaqan Waheed Khawaja; Co-Chairperson, Mrs. Saleha Khaqan Khawaja, Director RIHS & Hostel, Mrs. Amara Hayat and Director RIHS, Mrs. Omaima Khaqan, who addressed the newly inducted students and extended their heartfelt best wishes and prayers for a successful academic and professional journey.
