🌟 Commencement of the Liver Transplant Specialty Course 🌟

Shifa Center of Professional Excellence (SCOPE), in collaboration with Nursing Education Services and the Liver Transplant Department, proudly commenced the 12-Week Liver Transplant Specialty Course — a comprehensive program designed to enhance the clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and procedural competence of healthcare professionals working in the complex, high-stakes field of liver transplantation.

Each component has been thoughtfully structured to help participants develop a deeper understanding of transplant protocols, patient management, and multidisciplinary teamwork, all aligned with international standards of quality care.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Umar Farooq (Chief Nursing Officer), Mr. Malik Uzair (Director Operations), Dr. Maimoona Siddiqui (Director Medical Education, SCOPE), Dr. Haseeb Haider (Chief of Liver Transplant Specialty Program), along with senior transplant consultants and faculty members.

Led by the Liver Transplant Department and supported by Area Senior Nursing Manager, Ms. Shabnum, this program reflects Shifa’s commitment to empowering healthcare professionals with advanced skills, evidence-based knowledge, and the confidence to deliver excellence in transplant care.
