The Central Executive Council of PIMA held its two day meeting in Islamabad on 29-30 November with Central President Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui chairing the sessions. Members from across the country took part, including the provincial presidents and the president of the PIMA Women Branch.

The council reviewed the progress of the past six months across all departments, while provincial presidents shared updates from their regions. The meeting concluded with planning for upcoming professional and personal development programs along with future doctors avdocacy, health awareness and medical relief initiatives.

During the meeting, souvenirs were presented to Prof. Hafeez ur Rehman for his exemplary humanitarian services for Gaza, and to Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Dr. Muhammad Tahir Azam in recognition of their distinguished achievements on being elected President of FIMA and President of PPMA respectively.

A total of 15,783 people received medical care through the PIMA and Alkhidmat health services at the Ijtima-e-Aam held at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, from 21 to 23 November.

Male and female PIMA members from across the country worked as volunteers throughout the event. PIMA President Prof Atif Hafeez Siddiqui and FIMA President Prof Muhammad Iqbal Khan also visited the camp.

The entire setup ran under the supervision and leadership of Prof Zahid Latif, Chairman Alkhidmat Health Foundation, along with the PIMA team.

A new PIMA Unit has been established in Chakwal. The meeting was attended by Prof. Muhammad Tahir Chaudhry and former provincial president Dr Noor Hussain. Dr Arsalan Yaqoob, a pediatric specialist, was elected as the first president, and Dr Noor Hussain administered the oath.

The final day of the five-day central visit included stops in Muzaffargarh, Multan and Bahawalpur. Central President Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui and General Secretary Dr. Ahmad Salman Ghauri, accompanied by Dr. Irfanullah Malik, President PIMA South Punjab, met with PIMA members and other doctors, focusing on PIMA introduction, organizational matters and a Q&A session.

Prof. Nisar Ahmed Shaikh has been elected as President of PIMA Larkana for the 2025–27 session. He graduated from Chandka Medical College Larkana in 1990 and completed his MS in Urology from Punjab University in 2002. He has served as Professor of Urology at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana.

PIMA Gujrat arranged a graceful event in Kharian, attended by a large number of doctors. Newly elected President Dr Hafeez ul Haq took oath, while the chief guest Dr Iftikhar Burni delivered a talk on the qualities of honest and righteous leadership. Office bearers of PIMA and other medical organizations also participated.

On the fourth day of the PIMA central visit, the team began its tour of South Punjab. Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan hosted doctors gatherings attended by the central president Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui, GS Dr. Ahmad Salman Khan and the President of PIMA South Punjab Dr. Irfanullah Malik. A total of 180 doctors joined the sessions, which included an introduction to PIMA and a QA segment. Senior faculty and local doctors took part in the clinical program in Dera Ghazi Khan, led by the central president.
