π’ Consultation Meeting with Stakeholders | Strengthening GBV/SEA/SH Referral Mechanisms under Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement-PULSE at Bahawalpur
Today, we held a consultation meeting with key stakeholders to discuss the development of a referral directory and pathways mechanism aimed at improving the response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and Sexual Harassment (SH) cases.
π€ The session also focused on establishing GBV/SEA/SH case-handling protocols and strengthening the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) under the Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Project.
π This collaborative effort brought together voices from government departments, implementing partners, and community representatives ensuring that safeguarding and survivor-centered approaches remain at the core of all interventions.

Focal points from vital departments and organizations participated in the meeting, including the Prosecution Department, Health Department Punjab, Punjab Police Pakistan, Social Welfare & Women Development Department Punjab, Punjab Women Protection Authority, Ombudsperson Punjab Khatoon Mohtasib, and several passionate Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Their active engagement and insights highlighted the importance of multi-sectoral collaboration in strengthening referral pathways and response mechanisms.
