Ever wondered how a tiny drop of blood from a baby's heel can help detect serious conditions like Congenital Hypothyroidism? It all comes down to the precise and critical Dried Blood Spot (DBS) sample preparation process!

Our latest poster breaks down the essential 4-step workflow that allows labs to analyze newborn samples accurately:

1️⃣ SAMPLE COLLECTION: Blood is collected on special filter paper and dried.

2️⃣ SAMPLE PREPARATION: Small punches from the DBS are extracted using a solvent.
