The students who suffer from health issues invariably experience difficulties in performing as per the expected standards of education and learning. In order to address these health problems, schools can help the students by providing prompt and efficient on-site access to school-based health services comprising of screening, diagnostic, treatment, and health counseling services. These services are made available at the school premises during the school timings. In fact, School Health Care is the combination of medical care with preventive and psychosocial services. A successful School Health Program not only strives to appraise, protect and promote the health of students but also provides the opportunity for students to enhance their ability to learn by promoting physical and mental health and social well-being. IHS school health is a subsidiary of Integrated Health Services (IHS). Operating since 1997 in school health IHS is a market leader in provision of health services to the educational institutions in Pakistan. From a modest start due to its commitment and non-commercial and professional approach IHS is now the largest operator of school health in the country. IHS believes in developing self-sustainable models that can continue for a long time. It is providing school health solutions to both the private and public schools. How we work:
IHS School Health Services include a range of interventions that can be adopted collectively or individually depending on the requirements of a particular institution.
