خسرہ بچوں میں پائی جانے والی ایک عام اور خطرناک بیماری ہے، جو ہمارے معاشرے میں تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہے۔ یہ عموماً تیز بخار سے شروع ہوتی ہے جو آسانی سے کم نہیں ہوتا، اور بعد میں جسم پر دانے نمودار ہونا شروع ہو جاتے ہیں۔

بروقت علاج بہت ضروری ہے۔ والدین کو چاہیے کہ علامات ظاہر ہوتے ہی قریبی ڈاکٹر سے رجوع کریں اور بچے کا مناسب خیال رکھیں، خاص طور پر بخار کو کنٹرول کرنا اور پانی کی کمی نہ ہونے دینا۔

سب سے اہم بات یہ ہے کہ اس سے بچاؤ ممکن ہے۔ ویکسینیشن خسرہ جیسی بیماری سے بچاؤ کا سب سے مؤثر طریقہ ہے۔ اپنے بچے کو مقررہ عمر میں خسرہ کی ویکسین ضرور لگوائیں تاکہ اسے محفوظ رکھا جا سکے۔
