HEART FAILURE pandemic is a serious warning for all stakeholders who are involved in care of heart failure business.
HEART FAILURE is an extremely complex, heterogenous, costly and deadly syndrome.
HEART FAILURE has multiple etiologies and precipitating factors for recurrent hospitalizations, 70% to 80% budget is spent on recurrent hospitalizations.
MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION AND ISCHEMIA IS MAIN CAUSE OF HEART FAILURE WITH LV SYSTOLIC DYSFUNCTION IN MORE THAN 50% OF PATIENTS.

OUR HF PATIENTS ARE 10 TO 15 YEARS YOUNGER THAN WESTERN POPULATION.
Despite clear symptoms and availability of resources yet early diagnosis and initiation of guideline directed medical therapy (GDMT ) IS challenging.

Our Heart Failure services are fragmented, because of non availability of multidisciplinary heart failure programe and ( CCPC ) community Heart failure clinic network. Therefore target dose titration of GDMT and follow-up services are fragmented and
un co - ordinated .
