📚 Department of Biotechnology Students Visit LUMHS Diagnostic & Research Laboratory
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the 3rd-year students of the Department of Biotechnology embarked on an educational visit to the Diagnostic & Research Laboratory at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS).
The visit was organized by Dr. Sidra Shaheen, Sir Sohail Ahmed, and Ms. Mehwish Kalam, with valuable support from Dr. Zainab Bibi (Incharge), Sir Shezaib Siddiqui, and Ms. Faiza Afzal, who guided the students throughout the learning experience.
During the visit, students observed various diagnostic procedures, explored modern research techniques, and gained insights into advancements in biotechnology and medical diagnostics. The experience effectively bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications, enriching their understanding of laboratory practices and research innovation.
