The foundation stone for Dr Akil Bin Abdul Kadir Welfare Eye Hospital was laid in year 2000 under "Fazl-e-Umar Welfare Society" (Reg.) at Karachi Pakistan.

Dr. Akil Bin Abdul Kadir Welfare Eye Hospital under the Fazl-e-Umar Welfare Society is one of the not-for-profit multi-care hospital established to provide quality eye, dental and other medical facilities to all the patients with welfare support. In 2010 the hospital expanded it's access to Dental Care. By the end of year 2023 the management is now working to elaborate their services to add Consultant Clinics of different Specialties to serve the community in large. The core objective of this non profit multi care hospital is to provide adequate, qualitative preventive & curative health care with extra focus on the poor and needy. The hospital aims to work devotedly on provision of best care and satisfaction-oriented services to the patients.
