Yesterday, I had the privilege to deliver my oral presentation at the IUPS Congress 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany on the topic:
“Enhancing Physiology Practical Skills through Workplace-Based Assessment (WPBA).”
Our study highlighted how WPBA can transform undergraduate physiology education by providing structured opportunities for feedback, improving student performance, and bridging the gap between theory and practice.
The IUPS Congress is one of the most prestigious global gatherings in physiology, bringing together scientists and educators from across the world to share ideas and innovations. It was an honor to represent Pakistan and my institution on this international stage. 🌍

I had the privilege of serving as a jury member for the Poster Competition at the World Diabetes Day (WDD) Symposium organized by the Diabetic Association of Pakistan (DAP) on January 19, 2025. The event was a remarkable gathering of healthcare professionals, researchers, and students, all committed to raising awareness about diabetes and its management.

A truly humbling experience to share the stage with my teachers and mentors like Prof Abdul Basit, Prof Zaman Shaikh, and Prof Seema whose guidance has shaped my professional journey. Their contributions to the field of diabetology, endocrinology, and medical research continue to inspire us all.

Events like these play a crucial role in fostering scientific dialogue, innovation, and collaboration to combat the growing burden of diabetes in Pakistan and beyond. Congratulations to all the participants for their insightful research presentations!

Grateful to Prof. Shabeen Naz Masood and the DAP team for the kind invitation and a well-organized symposium. Looking forward to more such enriching academic and professional interactions!
