In 1982, Dr. Akhtar Jamal Khan established a specialized eye care institute by the name of Akhtar Eye Hospital and laid down the foundation of ophthalmic care in Pakistan. Providing latest trends in technologically advanced surgical procedures for over 2 decades is only one of our few achievements. Long before the advent of globalize technology in Pakistan, Akhtar Eye Hospital was leading the way in international collaborations and technological transfers to aid the masses of Pakistan with latest quality & cost effective treatment of eye diseases. Our concentration is on all aspects of eye care. Spanning an experience of over two decades from the time of intracapsular cataract extraction to the age and usage of Excimer Laser has still kept us at Akhtar Eye Hospital the leaders in ophthalmology practice in Pakistan.
