🩸How to Check Anemia with Vitrex Medical Products

🔹 Materials Needed:

Vitrex Hemoglobin Test Strip or Cassette

Lancet (to prick the finger)

Capillary pipette or dropper

Buffer solution (if included)

Test reader or color scale (if part of the kit)

🔹 Step-by-Step Process:

1. Wash and dry hands of the person being tested.

2. Prick the fingertip using a sterile lancet to get a drop of blood.

3. Collect the blood using a capillary tube or dropper provided in the kit.

4. Apply the blood to the test strip or cassette as instructed.

5. Add buffer solution (if the kit includes it).

6. Wait for the reaction – usually takes 30 seconds to 1 minute.

7. Read the result:

Some kits use a color scale to compare the result.

Others may use a digital hemoglobin meter to display the Hb level in g/dL.

🔹 Normal Hemoglobin Levels:

Group Normal Range

Men 13.8–17.2 g/dL
Women 12.1–15.1 g/dL
Children 11.0–16.0 g/dL

Louis Pasteur was a brilliant French scientist whose work in the 19th century helped prove the Germ Theory of Disease 🦠, changing the future of medicine 💊 and public health 🏥 . At a time when people believed in the miasma theory ( that diseases came from bad air 🌫️ ) Pasteur showed through his famous swan-neck flask experiment that microbes came from the environment, not from thin air. He also discovered that germs cause fermentation and food spoilage 🍞 , which led him to invent pasteurization a process to kill harmful bacteria without ruining the taste. Pasteur later created the first vaccines 💉 for anthrax and rabies, proving that diseases could be prevented. His discoveries led to better hygiene, sterilization, and the rise of modern microbiology.
