Lady Dufferin Hospital is one of the largest maternity facilities in Pakistan which provides specialized care for women and babies. Since our inception in 1894, we have grown from a 192-bed maternity into 308-bed hospital for women and children. Every year, over 49,000 women and children visit us as inpatients or outpatients. As a major medical facility, LDH plays a pivotal role in training the country’s doctors and nurses specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology. The large workload and expertise available in LDH allow for excellent training and research opportunities. We aim to be the leader in the training of future doctors from all over Pakistan.
