EID TIPS:
Most of us love to eat sweets and grab them without delay, especially after fasting for a month. Instead of grabbing, try to eat fruit, dates, or figs before laying your hands on these sweet delights. This satisfies your sweet cravings immediately, and you feel satisfied after a few bites.

EID TIPS:
People love to sip carbonated beverages with heavy meals, believing they aid digestion. However, the reality is quite the opposite; these drinks are loaded with sugar and offer no health benefits. Instead, opt for a glass of sugar-free lassi with mint (podina) leaves. It effectively helps relieve indigestion and keeps you feeling light.

Portion control is of utmost importance, especially during get-togethers and social gatherings. Avoid piling food onto your plate just because it is available in front of you. When you do this, you end up consuming far more than your body actually needs.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) affects 10% of the population worldwide, often showing no symptoms until 90% of kidney function is lost. Your kidneys do more than you think: they control your body's chemical balance, help manage blood pressure, and keep your bones healthy.

8 Golden Rules:
Stay Active: Keep fit and be active.
Eat Well: Maintain a healthy diet.
Monitor Vitals: Check and control your blood sugar and blood pressure.
Hydrate: Take appropriate fluid intake.
Quit Smoking: Avoid smoking to reduce risk.
Medication Safety: Don’t take over-the-counter anti-inflammatory or pain-killer pills regularly.
Get Checked: Get your kidney function checked if you have diabetes, hypertension, or are obese.

The Journey of Serving Humanity.

The Aziz Tabba Foundation was established in 1987 with the aim to provide humanitarian and welfare services as well as medical treatment of the highest standards to the poor and the needy and serves as a testimony to the philanthropic spirit of our forefathers. The foundation is a manifestation of an audacious dream to inspire and facilitate transformative change – a philosophy which is committed to enhance the quality of life of people from marginalized and vulnerable communities. The foundation carries out various activities for the betterment of our society in the areas of health, education enhancing economic prosperity and uplifting the underprivileged. Through such efforts, we strive to bring about a positive change in our society and reform the lives of those in need. One of the key areas of focus of Aziz Tabba Foundation is health care and providing advanced medical treatment in the field of cardiology, nephrology and urology to patients at an affordable cost. Under its patronage the foundation runs Tabba Heart Institute which is a specialized cardiac institute comprising of 175 beds with a primary objective to promote excellence in the field of cardiovascular health. The Aziz Tabba Foundation aspires to facilitate a just, humane and sustainable Pakistan. It is a daunting task but one we consider sacred. We face huge obstacles but are determined to perform social activities in order to serve our communities and ensure the well-being of society. On this auspicious occasion I pray that the Tabba Kidney Institute stands as a beacon of excellence in Pakistan and be a source of deliverance and convalescence for its patients and community at large.
