گلوکوما (آنکھوں کا خاموش چور) اکثر بغیر کسی واضح علامت کے بینائی کو نقصان پہنچاتا ہے — اسی لیے بروقت آگاہی بہت ضروری ہے۔
👁️ گلوکوما آگاہی پیغام
گلوکوما ایک ایسی آنکھوں کی بیماری ہے جو آہستہ آہستہ بینائی کو متاثر کرتی ہے اور اگر بروقت علاج نہ کیا جائے تو مستقل اندھا پن بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔ افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ اس بیماری کی ابتدائی مراحل میں کوئی خاص علامات ظاہر نہیں ہوتیں، اسی لیے اسے "خاموش چور" کہا جاتا ہے۔

سائیڈ ویژن (اطراف کی نظر) کا کم ہونا

40 سال سے زیادہ عمر کے افراد

ذیابیطس یا ہائی بلڈ پریشر کے مریض

جن کے خاندان میں گلوکوما کی ہسٹری ہو

آنکھوں کا زیادہ نمبر (چشمہ) رکھنے والے

✅ بچاؤ اور احتیاط:

ہر 6 سے 12 ماہ بعد آنکھوں کا مکمل معائنہ کروائیں
