The Department of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organized a dynamic workshop titled “Train the Trainer” on 10th February 2026. The session was conducted by Syed Najeeb Haider Jafri, Director QEC, focusing on positioning training as a strategic management function aligned with institutional goals and measurable performance outcomes.

The workshop emphasized Needs Assessment, Key Result Areas, and the development of SMARTER objectives, enabling participants to translate training initiatives into tangible results. Through interactive discussions, case-based exercises, and practical applications including the 80/20 prioritization principle and structured objective drafting participants strengthened their understanding of accountability, alignment, and performance measurement.

The session reinforced a key message:
Effective training management is not about activity it is about results, alignment, and measurable impact.

The Quality Enhancement Cell department organized a CPD Workshop, 'Mental Wellbeing Is Not a Destination, It’s a Daily Practice', on 4th February 2026. Mr. Abdul Basit, Self-Development Coach from WisdomLife Academy, led the session, providing practical strategies for daily mental health habits. The workshop emphasized that well-being is a continuous commitment, focusing on awareness, resilience, self-reflection, and stress management in academic and professional settings.

Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and reflective exercises, participants explored common mental health challenges and learned mindset and emotional regulation techniques. The Biomedical, Molecular and Cellular Research Series is in full swing at Sohail University, organized by the Biomedical Research Center. Students from diverse disciplines are gaining hands-on experience with advanced laboratory techniques.

This session focused on genomic DNA extraction, DNA quantification, and agarose gel electrophoresis. The practical was facilitated by Dr. Aisha and Dr. Gulnaz, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rizwana Waraich.
