Women should do a self examination if they see or feel any changes in their breasts.

Changes found during a self examination that should be reported to a doctor include:

-Lump or a firm feeling in your breast or under your arm.

Normal breast tissue can sometimes feel lumpy. Breast self-examinations can help to know how the breasts feel normally and make it easier to notice any changes.

-Ni**le changes or discharge. May be of different colours or textures. It can be due to some medicines or infections.

-Skin changes such as itchy, red, scaled, dimpled, or puckered skin.

Women should get a mammogram regularly.

If you are experiencing symptoms or signs of breast cancer visit or reach out to your nearest hospital.
