Today, we are sharing the interview of one of our dialysis patients at Al-Hamra Medical Centre. Behind that calm face is a silent struggle — a person who does not want sympathy, only a chance to live.
Three times every week, they lie down for hours, attached to a machine that keeps them alive. For them, dialysis is not treatment… it is survival. Missing even one session can become life-threatening.
Most of our dialysis patients cannot afford this lifelong expense. They come with hope in their eyes — hope that someone, somewhere, will care enough to support them.
Your donation is not just money.
It is another week of life.

Al-Hamra Medical Centre Organised Awareness Lecture on “Ramadan & Diabetes”

Al-Hamra Medical Centre successfully organised an informative lecture on the important topic of “Ramadan and Diabetes.” The session was delivered by Dr. Shakila Qazi, Consultant Diabetologist & Diabetic Foot Specialist, who highlighted essential guidelines and medical facts regarding fasting during the blessed month of Ramadan, especially for diabetic patients.

Dr. Shakila Qazi elaborated on safe fasting practices, blood sugar monitoring, medication adjustments, dietary precautions, and the importance of timely medical consultation to prevent complications

At the end of the session, complimentary nutritionally balanced meal boxes were distributed among the participants to promote healthy eating habits and reinforce practical dietary guidance.

Al-Hamra Medical Centre remains committed to spreading awareness and serving the community with quality healthcare and preventive education.
