Excellence in healthcare isn’t just about having providers about having competent, confident, and frontline skilled professionals.
We are proud to highlight the impactful work of Dr. Nosheen Jamali, MNCH Coordinator at PPHI Badin-B. Following her participation in the NHSP Training of Trainers on the Competency Assessment System, she has hit the ground running to ensure high-quality service delivery in the field.
Dr. Nosheen has conducted capacity assessments of staff nurses, LHVs, and midwives across PPHI health facilities. Using the NHSP Standardized Checklist, these assessments evaluate critical skills in:
✅ MNCH & FP Services (Antenatal, Postnatal, Normal Vaginal Delivery, Newborn Care and Family Planning etc.).
✅ Life-Saving Interventions (Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pre-Eclampsia and Eclampsia & Newborn Resuscitation etc.).
✅ Timely Referrals for complicated cases, communication and documentation.

On International Mother Earth Day, we recognize a fundamental truth: a healthy planet is the foundation of a healthy life. 🌏🏥

Environmental health and human health are inseparable. At NHSP Sindh, we understand that protecting our ecosystems is a vital health imperative. Environmental challenges—like pollution and climate change—directly impact respiratory health and water safety, placing a heavier burden on our Primary Health Care (PHC) systems.

To ensure our progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is sustainable, NHSP Sindh is deeply committed to Environmental and Social Safeguards. Through our dedicated frameworks, we ensure that:
✅ Medical waste is managed safely to protect our soil and water.
✅ Health facility upgrades prioritize environmental safety and climate resilience.
✅ Social safeguards ensure equitable health access for all communities.

By safeguarding our environment today, we are securing the health of Sindh for generations to come. 🌿💚

Digital Innovation for a Stunting-Free Sindh
The NHSP Sindh team hosted a follow-up meeting at the PMU NHSP Sindh office on April 7,2026 to review the prototype of the Integrated Stunting Reduction Dashboard. This innovative digital tool is designed to provide a real-time, evidence-based overview of stunting trends across the province, shifting the focus toward proactive governance and informed, timely decision-making. The session was attended by representatives from the World Bank, the World Food Programme, UNICEF, PPHI, SIHPP, SPA, Task Force Secretariat for Nutrition and NHSP Sindh. By consolidating data from these various stakeholders into one integrated platform, the dashboard will serve as a critical instrument for supporting long-term reduction efforts and ensuring that nutritional interventions are both targeted and sustainable for a healthier Sindh.

Today is International Day of Zero Waste, and the 2026 theme—"Zero Waste Starts on Your Plate"—reminds us that our consumption habits directly impact both our environment and our health.
At NHSP Sindh, we believe that true sustainability begins with maximizing the nutritional value of what we consume while minimizing loss. This is why we are integrating environmental consciousness with our mission to combat malnutrition.
A "Zero Waste" plate isn't just about finishing your meal; it’s about choosing nutrient-dense options that fuel the future of Sindh. By supporting Multi Micronutrient Supplement and efficient Primary Health Care delivery, NHSP is ensuring that no child’s potential is wasted due to poor nutrition.
Let’s commit to a cleaner planet and a stronger, better-nourished Sindh.
