My right knee is bone on bone. I was scheduled for 3 procedures of PRP, but since my knee was doing so well we only did two. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedures or after with both shots. I was able to drive with no issues. Dr advised me not to work out for the first week and to gradually increase each week after. Also no NSAIDs. Procedures were done 6 weeks apart. It’s been 8 months and my knee still feels good, really no pain anymore and it’s doesn’t get very stiff anymore. It’s not a permanent fix but has helped me get through my Disney & Hawaii vacations.
