Consumer Pakistan

Consumer Pakistan “A society where people basic rights are genuinely protected against social mafias”.
(2)

Consumer Pakistan is an independent & nonprofit organization (NGO) being established in 2013 under the voluntary social service Act 1961. We believe that God has bestowed us a beautiful and resourceful piece of land in terms of human beings & material but we, as a society failed to exploit the available resources due to rampant corruption, abuse of power, poor management of our human capital especially with respect to health and education and violation of merits in almost all walk of life. In other words, there exists a lot of room to build Pakistani society within the framework of welfare society which is free from corruption, misuse of power, poverty & consumers’ exploitation menace, common man’s inaccessibility to the proper health & medical facilities at affordable rates, health hazards on account of enormous environmental pollution and trends of social injustice and gender inequality in almost all disciplines of life. This situation had motivated us to formulate a platform which provides the people of Pakistan, an opportunity to organize themselves against all such social evils & trends. So we adapted a two prong strategy that is “VOICE & JUST DO IT” mindset, firstly by raising voice against social evils through a weekly newspaper “Consumer Pakistan” which regularly highlights public & private sector‘s corruption & embezzlement of state resources at the hand of social mafias, & secondly by building an on ground ACTION FORCE against voiced, through an NGO “Consumer Pakistan” which believes that through running an effective social awareness & organizational campaign aimed to protect people’s basic rights as described in the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at grass root level against social mafia, may relieve masses against poverty, exploitation & norms of social injustice uniformly in all parts of the country. Consumer Pakistan has initially chosen four main sectors to serve the society. We fight for the protection of consumers’ rights, against the poor health and medical situation in the country, the alarming environmental safety issues and the norms of social injustice and gender inequality in Pakistani society. "As we believe that together, we make our homeland an ideal place for living".
