This year, I didn’t just collect candles, I collected tiny revolutions in how I care for myself and others.

I celebrate another year of growing—not just older, but deeper. Here’s what this year taught me… and maybe it’ll speak to you too. 🫶

👉Love is a language best spoken through actions, not just words.
👉Mindful Movements can be therapeutic when it’s rooted in compassion, not criticism.
👉Creativity doesn’t need a ‘purpose’ to be healing, it just needs permission.
👉Growth isn’t a straight line; it’s showing up, even at 10%.

Everyday stressors from work, relationships, finances that may seem insignificant on their own can negatively effect your physical health in micro doses over time.

Your complains of digestive issues, unexplained body pains, numbness in hands, feet and other body parts, headaches for no reason disrupts your daily life activities and impacts your ability to enjoy life leading to further problems like sleep issues, fatigue, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes.

It is important to note that the physical health issues at times require holistic approach to treatment which includes medication, physical therapy and psychological support.

Be mindful around several habits in your routine that can contribute to nervous system dysregulation👇

👉Poor sleep habits: Lack of sleep or poor quality sleep can disrupt the body's natural rhythms and lead to nervous system dysregulation.
👉Inactivity: A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to nervous system dysregulation, as regular physical activity helps regulate the nervous system.
👉Unhealthy diet: A diet high in processed foods, sugar, and unhealthy fats can contribute to inflammation and dysregulation of the nervous system.
👉Water Intake: Not keeping oneself hydrated through out the day can result in headaches and brain fog.
👉Substance abuse: alcohol and drugs, can disrupt the functioning of the nervous system.
👉Poor coping skills: Ineffective coping skills, such as avoidance or suppression, can lead to chronic stress and dysregulation of the nervous system.

💫To start your journey towards a regulated state, recognising emotional behaviors that affect day to day life is crucial.

💫These emotional behaviours can make navigating through life extremely difficult.

💫Therapy can always have a benefit when you experience these shifts as it is helpful to understand what’s happening to you and intentionally learn tools to be in a more regulated state.

To find balance, the only thing that needs to change is us and how we relate to our life.

Connect to your self with the practice of mindfulness and don’t try to gain or lose something with this practice. It’s a practice of awareness and being in the moment. Just BE💕

Practice self-compassion to nurture yourself with kindness and to remind yourself that you are a human being who can be out of balance at times.

These practices will help in you to lovingly connect with your thoughts and make conscious readjustments, improving your life and relationships too.
