Male child Presented with an old post-burn scar, sustained 3.5-4 years ago. The parents were very anxious regarding the cosmetic appearance.

Treatment Initiated 3 months ago

Before treatment: The scar was thick, irregular, hyperpigmented, and showed surface roughness with noticeable textural deformity.

After 3 months of treatment: The scar has become smoother, lighter in color, and more even with the surrounding skin. Surface irregularity has significantly reduced and the overall cosmetic appearance is much improved.

On visual assessment, there is approximately 60–70% improvement in texture, pigmentation, and overall appearance.

This patient presented with 5–6 months history of persistent hyperpigmented lesions following a road traffic accident. The “Before” image shows dark discoloration involving the periorbital and forehead area.
