This is really heartbreaking.....!!!

Dr. Maryam Shoukat's Journey
She was a brilliant and determined young doctor from a small town in Pakistan, was a shining example of hope and resilience. A graduate of Gujranwala Medical College, she embarked on her USMLE journey with a dream of joining a residency training program in the United States. With exceptional scores in USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3, she recently arrived in the USA for a clinical observer-ship in New Jersey, paving her way to this year's residency match.
But fate had other plans. This young doctor, weighing only 120 lbs, faced a life-threatening challenge when she developed Tylenol toxicity, leading to Acute Fulminant Liver Failure and Acute Respiratory Failure.
She died just half an hour before she was due to undergo a life-saving liver transplant at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark.
She had moved to the US with hopes of serving people through medicine, but earlier this month she was struck by acute liver failure. Her condition worsened rapidly, leaving doctors with no option but to recommend an urgent transplant.

It is sad to announce that Dr. Mumtaz Narejo, an esteemed Consultant Neurosurgeon, is no longer with us. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and bless his family and loved ones with patience and strength.

Reportedly, he had been unwell for the past few months and was admitted to NICVD Karachi, from where he was discharged just week ago. Unfortunately, he fell ill again, collapsed, and the angel of death took him away from us.

Dr. Mumtaz Narejo was a graduate of Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College, Sukkur, and belonged to District Khairpur Mirs. Despite being a highly qualified and classical neurosurgeon, he was also an amazingly straightforward, humble, kind, and down-to-earth person.

He was a good friend of mine. We shared great moments at gims hospital gambat and had multiple gatherings. 😞
For a short time, he worked at the Neurosurgery Ward of GIMS Hospital, Gambat, before moving on to join Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, as an Assistant Professor.

Grim News!

ڈاکٹر طلہ محمد کی جلی ہوئی لاش بگن بازار سے بر آمد ۔
اللہ ان کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلی مقام عطا کرے اور لواحقین کو صبر جمیل عطا فرمائے۔

ڈاکٹر طلہ محمد خان کو چند ہفتے پہلے کرم ایجنسی کے فرقہ ورانہ لڑائی میں اغوا کیا گیا تھا جس کی جلی ہوئی لاش آج برمد کی گئی۔
ڈاکٹر طلہ محمد کرم عوام کے بلا تفریق ، ذات ،فرقہ اور نسل کے 30 سال سے خدمت کیا کرتے تھے ۔ مذید اس کی بیٹیاں بھی وہاں اپنے علاقے میں علاج و معالج فراہم کیا کرتی تھیں۔
فرقہ ورانہ تعصب اور نفرت نے اس فرشہ صفت شخص کو بھی نہیں بخشا اور ڈاکٹر طلہ محمد کے بھانجوں اور بیٹے کو شہید جبکہ باقی خاندان والوں کو اغوا کیا تھا جن کو بعد میں حوالہ کیا گیا تھا اور ڈاکٹر طلہ کی جلی ہوئی لاش آج بر آمد کی گئی ۔ یقینا اس خاندان پر قیامت صغری گزری ہے۔

نفرت کی اس آگ نے اپنے محسنوں کو بھی جل کی راکھ کیا۔

With great sorrow, it is announced that our dear & respected *Prof Fareesa Waqar* left for her heavenly abode today.
A lady with a beautiful personality, humble, kind, genuine, committed, hard working & honest, she has been a leading professor of OBGYN and star of our fraternity.
She served as Chairperson Islamabad Rawalpindi SOGP Chapter, HoD at Railway Hospital, IIMCT, Riphah International University, Islamabad.
An exemplary human being and an inspirational teacher.
Always there to help & guide with open heart; we have lost a gem of a person and fraternity has lost a champion teacher.
May Allaah swt bless her with high ranks in jannah ameen.
We pray for strength & patience for her family, friends, colleagues, and students.
Please recite fateha & remember her in prayers.
