Alhamdulillah, the upgradation and innovation of the Physiotherapy Department has been successfully completed. The department has undergone significant improvement, and through generous philanthropic support, both state-of-the-art machines and complete infrastructure revamping have been introduced. As a result, the Physiotherapy Department is now operating in a much-enhanced and functional state.

This remarkable progress has been made possible due to the vigilance, dedication, and active involvement of the Head of Department, who truly deserves full credit for this achievement. Approximately eight months ago, during my initial visit to the Physiotherapy Department, its internal condition was visibly poor, as it was one of our non-revamped areas. The department was then entrusted with the responsibility to rehabilitate the facility through donor-based contributions — and Alhamdulillah, the team successfully completed this task within the assigned timeframe.

As part of this transformation, we have now initiated aerobic exercise sessions twice a week, completely free of cost, especially for chronic patients — including those suffering from paralysis, hypertension, and diabetes. This initiative is the first of its kind in Punjab to be introduced within a government healthcare facility.

InshaAllah, more services will be gradually introduced to further support physical rehabilitation and overall well-being. This entire effort is dedicated to enhancing patient care and recovery, and stands as a significant milestone in advancing our commitment to public health.
