The Speech Therapist's responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individual treatment plans, liaising with family members administering therapy and monitoring progress, and ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques.

As a Speech Therapist, you need be passionate about social and biological science, language, and human anatomy.

Exceptional Speech Therapists are caring, adaptable, and able to use available resources to find solutions.

Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.

Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members, physicians, and teachers to design effective treatment plans.

Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.

Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.

Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.

Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.

Providing mentoring and workshops to speech therapy students.

Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.

Speech Therapist Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-language Pathology.

Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required.

Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.

Salary Package : 50k to 60k per month

Job Description

We are seeking qualified and compassionate Peadiatric Psychologist / Behaviour Therapiest to join our growing team of professionals.

You may work with children suffering from a wide range of disorders, e.g. ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism, to children seeking to overcome substance abuse, or who are in post-trauma recovery.

The successful candidate must have the knowledge and skills to provide quality care to our clients and their families.

You will need to be well-versed in the most recent research on child and adolescent therapies.

Peadiatric Psychologist Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes.

Develop an individualized treatment plan for each child.

Educate family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors.

Recommend rehabilitation or intervention programs to overcome addiction issues.

Provide complete documentation and records of assessments and treatments according to in-house policies.

Child Psychologist Requirements:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Clinical psychology, a graduate degree in psychology with specialisations in clinical or Peadiatric Psychology.

Experience working with children in a clinical setup may be strongly desired.

Must be approachable and empathic for children to be comfortable working with them.

Must be knowledgeable of different therapeutic methods and be able to switch between different approaches to meet each child’s needs.

Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
