I’ve always noticed that whenever something goes wrong in the hospitals, the doctors are always blamed for it. Nobody understands that a hospital is run by so many different people including the hospital administration, doctors, the paramedical staff which includes the nurses, workers, technicians etc. The doctor’s job is just to treat the patient. You need to understand this!
I’m a doctor and it’s not my fault.
If you bring your patient too late, it’s not my fault.
If an oxygen port doesn’t work, it’s not my fault.
If a wheelchair is faulty, it’s not my fault.
If there’s a doubling on your bed, it’s not my fault.
If medicine is not available in the hospital, it’s not my fault.
If you can’t find free medicines from the pharmacy, it’s not my fault.
If the washroom you use is dirty, it’s not my fault.
If there's no bed available in the ICU, it’s not my fault.
If there is one doctor for 15 patients, it’s not my fault.
If the X-ray machine is out of order most of the times, it’s not my fault.
If you haven't been following the prescription correctly, it’s not my fault.
If you’ve become resistant because you self-treat with antibiotics, it’s not my fault.
If you're put on a waiting list for 6 months for an elective procedure, it’s not my fault.
It’s time to place the blame where it belongs so no doctor is ever beaten again.
