National Hospital & Medical Center (NHMC) is one of the leading private teaching hospitals in Lahore, with 24/7 Emergency Services, experienced & dedicated Medical Staff, world renowned Consultants, latest Technologies, state of the art Operation theaters & Executive rooms. The hospital started functioning as Orthopedic Center in 1991-1992 led by Professor Aftab Ahmad and Professor Shahida Khawaja. Soon extension plans were prepared, and general surgical team was introduced in 1994. In 1996, hospital building phase 1 was completed and Cardio Surgical joined us as partners. Since then there has been a continuous improvement & NHMC has flourished and has all the facilities like, diagnostics, therapeutic, and operative, under one roof.

Along with helping people with their medical needs, NHMC is also expanding as an Educational Institute. Since 2010, we have started the ‘College of Nursing’ and our residency program is the best in the country, allowing our doctors to clear the Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS), a postgraduate qualification, in 1stattempt. National Hospital feels extremely obliged for healing, educating and serving the nation.
