Dr. Zafar Iqbal received his medical education from the Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur (Pakistan) and completed his graduation in 1979. He completed his residency training in (ophthalmology) at the Bahawal Victoria Hospital, Bahawalpur (Pakistan). After that he joined the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Institute at Lahore and completed his post graduation in DOMS. Dr. Zafar Iqbal started his practice in 1981 and expanded the scope of surgeries available in the Pakistan. Since than he has provided the full spectrum of eye care, including the treatment of eye diseases, prescription of glasses, contact lenses, medical treatment. He has also successfully performed the thousands of complex microsurgery operations. He is one of the few eye surgeons of the Pakistan who are the specialist in latest eye operations. In addition to that comprehensive ophthalmology, he also offers an array of refractive surgeries. Dr. Zafar Iqbal has attended the various trainings and courses in different countries like Singapore, France, Hong Kong and Jordan. He has, also participated in all major National and International conferences, symposium and workshops on Ophthalmology where he has given numerous presentations on various topics in ophthalmology. Presently Dr. Zafar Iqbal is practicing at Lahore and Khanewal (Pakistan)
