Pendular Exercises for Shoulder

Pendular exercises are gentle movements used in the early stages of shoulder rehabilitation. They help reduce stiffness, improve joint mobility, and promote blood circulation without putting excessive stress on the shoulder.

• Relaxes shoulder muscles
• Improves joint mobility
• Helps reduce pain and stiffness

Move the arm slowly in small circular or forward-backward motions while keeping the shoulder relaxed.

Early movement leads to better recovery. 💪

Strong quadriceps are essential for knee stability, power, and injury prevention. Activating the quads before training helps improve muscle engagement, enhances performance, and reduces the risk of knee injuries. Proper quad activation is a key step in rehabilitation and athletic conditioning.

Vertigo is not a disease itself but a symptom of an underlying condition. It creates a sensation that the surroundings are spinning or moving even when the body is still.

Common causes of vertigo include:

• Inner ear crystal displacement (BPPV) – when tiny calcium crystals move into the semicircular canals, disturbing balance signals.
• Cervical vertigo – related to neck dysfunction, muscle tightness, or cervical spine problems affecting proprioception and blood flow.
• Brain or vestibular tumors – rare but possible causes that affect the balance center of the brain.

Proper assessment and diagnosis are essential because each type requires a different treatment approach such as vestibular rehabilitation, repositioning maneuvers, or medical management.

Training the lateral chain plays a crucial role in an athlete’s performance and injury prevention. Strengthening the muscles along the outer side of the body—such as the gluteus medius, hip abductors, and lateral core—improves balance, stability, and control during dynamic movements.

For athletes, strong lateral chain muscles enhance side-to-side power, agility, and change-of-direction ability, which are essential in sports like football, basketball, and sprinting. It also reduces the risk of knee valgus, ankle injuries, and hip instability.

By developing the lateral chain, athletes can move more efficiently, maintain better posture during high-intensity actions, and perform at a higher level while minimizing the risk of injuries

Yesterday, a patient said to me, ‘You are doing great work, Allah will reward you for it.’ I replied that the real reward for me is simply being able to do my work and serve people. Alhamdulillah for that. On this Women’s Day, I wish that women are respected, treated with dignity, and valued for their contributions.
Happy women’s day to all my lovelies 🫶🏻

Epley Maneuver is a canalith repositioning technique used to treat Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
It works by moving displaced otolith crystals (canaliths) from the semicircular canal back into the utricle of the inner ear, where they no longer cause vertigo.

Sometimes life slows you down so you can rebuild stronger.
The pain, the struggle, the uncomfortable days — they are not there to break you. They are there to shape you.

Growth never comes from comfort.
Every difficult step, every painful moment, every small progress is building a stronger version of you.

One day you will look back and realise that the hardest phase of your life was actually the moment you became unstoppable.

So keep going.
No matter how slow the progress is — progress is still progress.

You are not broken. You are rebuilding.

This compression can cause pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness that radiates from the neck into the shoulder, arm, or hand.

Common Causes

• Cervical disc herniation
• Cervical spondylosis (degenerative changes)
• Foraminal stenosis
• Trauma or sudden neck movement
• Poor posture or repetitive stress

Common Symptoms

• Neck pain
• Radiating arm pain
• Numbness or tingling in the arm or fingers
• Muscle weakness in the upper limb
