Lahore Medical Research Center (LMRC) proudly participated in the Oath Ceremony of the newly inducted batch of the Executive Medical Staff College, held at the Awan Auditorium, Institute of Public Health (IPH), Lahore. The ceremony marked an important step toward strengthening healthcare leadership, governance, and ethical medical administration in Punjab.
The event was graced by Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education, Government of Punjab, as the Chief Guest. In his address, the Minister emphasized that the oath represents a lifelong commitment to ethical leadership, public accountability, and patient-centered healthcare administration.
Representing Lahore Medical Research Center, Prof. Dr. Riffat Mehboob (CEO & Co-Founder), Mr. Khurram Mehboob (Managing Director), and Mr. Zeeshan Mehboob (Manager) attended the ceremony, reaffirming LMRC’s commitment to advancing healthcare education, research, and professional development.
Dean IPH, Professor Dr. Saira Afzal, highlighted the role of the Executive Medical Staff College in developing competent healthcare leaders equipped to manage emerging challenges, ensure quality care, and promote institutional accountability.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished health and academic leaders, including Professor Dr. Majeed Chaudhary (Chairman, Board of Management, IPH Lahore), Professor Mulazim Hussain Bukhari (President, Pathology Association of Pakistan), Dr. Fayyaz Ranjha (Former DGHS, Pakistan), Ms. Naveela (Special Secretary Operations, SHC&ME), and Professor M.D. Lamawansa (FRCS, Royal College Glasgow), along with senior faculty members and healthcare professionals. Certificate course oaths were also administered during the event.
