Our journal, Diet Factor (Journal of Neutritional and Food Sciences), is indexed with FAO, directly contributing to SDG 2: Zero Hunger – one of the most vital Sustainable Development Goals. Which is published by CrossLinks International Publishers. A group company of Lahore Medical Research Center.

To the best of our knowledge, LMRC is the only organization in Pakistan registered with FAO, and we are honored to represent our country on this global platform.

Mubashra Inam and Aqsa Javaid, the dedicated Research Associates at LMRC, had the privilege to attend a one-day capacity-building training for lab attendants focused on biosecurity protocols in research institutes held on April 24, 2024. This transformative workshop, hosted at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) and Health Security Partners, USA, emphasized crucial safety standards and best practices in research environments. Our representatives' participation in the workshop was particularly noteworthy as they were selected through an open-call process, emphasizing their exceptional research contributions and expertise in their field. We firmly believe that fostering a culture of biosecurity is not just a commitment but a responsibility towards our planet and its inhabitants. By upholding these rigorous protocols, we safeguard our immediate environment and contribute to global efforts in sustainable scientific practices.

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated trainers who shared their expertise and all the enthusiastic participants who made this training session a resounding success!
