Shalamar Hospital illuminates the path to diabetes awareness on World Diabetes Day! 🌐 Sakina Institute of Diabetes & Endocrine Research (SiDER) under the kind supervision of Dr Hafeeza Naz HOD Endocrinology section, orchestrated a symposium that delved deep into the prevention and causes of diabetes. Our dedicated doctors passionately discussed diabetes prevalence in Pakistan, causes and prevention, urging everyone over 35 to prioritize their health with screening. Expert clinicians form Neurology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology & Obstetrics, and Cardiology shared profound insights on how diabetes affects different aspects of health. At the end of the symposium, participants took strides in an awareness walk, proudly carrying the banner of World Diabetes Day. 💙👣

We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Bone Symposium, which will be held on October 26, 2023. This symposium will provide a platform for Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Radiology and Orthopedic Experts to share their knowledge and experience in the field of bone health.

The symposium will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions. The topics covered will include osteoporosis, bone fractures, and other bone-related diseases.

We are committed to promoting a healthy and happy workforce, one step at a time.

As part of its community awareness work, Shalamar Hospital conducted an awareness talk and obesity screening camp in a high school on World Obesity Day. Clinicians team Dr Ali Sher (Medical Officer Endocrinology) ,Dr Hina (PGR Med), and Dietitian Javeriya Afzal under the supervision of Dr Hafeeza Naz (Assistant Professor Endocrinology), educated the participants on obesity risk factors, health complications, and preventive tactics. High-risk patients were screened with advanced diagnostic tests.
