The Jinme M2 is a low-speed air-driven dental handpiece system. If you are experiencing slow speed with a Jinme M2, the common causes and solutions relate to maintenance and air pressure:
Common Causes of Slow Speed
Insufficient Lubrication: This is a very common problem. Without adequate lubrication, the internal components (like the blades in the motor and the bearings) experience increased friction and can generate dust, causing the motor to stop running efficiently or get stuck.
Incorrect or Insufficient Air Pressure: The handpiece is designed to work within a specific air pressure range (typically 0.28Mpa-0.3Mpa). If the air pressure from your dental unit is too low, the speed will be too slow. Conversely, pressure that is too high can prematurely wear out the bearings.
Worn Bearings: The system uses ceramic bearings, which have a long life, but they can still wear out over time, especially with improper maintenance or excessive air pressure.
Internal Debris/Blockages: Accumulated debris, blood, or other fluids (due to not flushing or improper cleaning) can cause blockages or friction points, leading to slow operation.
