You don't need to be a doctor to understand what this image shows.
A skeleton built for movement is struggling under a load it was never designed to carry,
This body is suffering,
Weight has risen too far.
This body looks like it can't carry itself..
Joints compress, breathing becomes laboured, inflammation is constant, and daily life becomes work.
Judgment - No.
Simple physiology!
Over the last ten years, global obesity has risen by more than 25%, More than 1 billion people are now living with obesity worldwide.
If nothing shifts, the next decade will push that number toward 1.5 billion, These are not abstract statistics.
They are people who will face diabetes, heart disease, joint failure, and reduced lifespan...all at once.
For our industry, this is a moment where fitness,
wellness, and recovery stop being optional!
We are becoming healthcare in the front line, not the afterthought.
Structured movement, coaching, and routine are still the most reliable interventions we have.
2026 gives our industry an obvious challenge "Build spaces, programmes and support
systems that keep people functional, mobile and
independent for longer."
Not hype
Not trends.
Only preventive work can change this sad trajectory of an over indulging life!
That's the task!
That's the opportunity!
